Community Supported Agriculture What is a CSA: Community
supported agriculture is an economical method of providing large
variety, high quality, fresh food in an environmentally friendly way.
Community members or "shareholders" invest in the farm, providing the
anticipated costs of food production and recieving routine offerings
throughout the available season in return. In addition, shareholders
become valuable members of the farm, recieving updatees, providing
input, and establishing a relationship with the land.
A community supported agricultural model supports many of our pillars of commitment: 1. Connecting the people to seasonal foods and the farm that it is raised on 2. Establisment of a community 3. Providing food at affordable prices We are commited to our CSA members! CSA members baskets are always the freshest of food. Members recieve their product before anyone else. Shareholders are routinely updated and their input valued. Basket pickup locations for routine offerings are conviently located and offerings are provided in a timely manner.
